WORCESTER, MA - The next class of registered nurses is ready to get to work. On Dec. 23, over 90 students graduated from Quinsigamond Community College’s nursing program and are poised to enter the workforce.

“Our graduates embody the future of healthcare in our local community,” said Dean of the School of Healthcare Pat Schmohl.

The students attended a pinning ceremony, a tradition in nurse education that celebrates the work and dedication they put into their studies. Priscilla Araujo, the class president of the program, helped fundraise the pinning ceremony. Following her board certification, she’ll join the emergency room at UMass Memorial Health. Many of her other fellow graduates have also secured employment.
