Worcester to Perform ALL of Bach's Works in 11-Year Project

Music Worcester Launches "The Complete Bach": All Bach Compositions Over 11 Years

Music Worcester, one of the nation’s oldest concert presenters, has launched a monumental project titled "The Complete Bach" (TCB). Over the next 11 years, culminating in 2035 on the 350th anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach's birth, Music Worcester will present all of the composer's vast and revered works.

A Citywide Celebration of Bach

This ambitious project will involve a wide range of musical organizations within Worcester and beyond, forming a collaborative group called the Worcester Bach Collective. TCB will be anchored by two annual festival weekends: "Bachtoberfest" every October and "Bach Birthday Bash" around March 21st. These weekends will feature performances by renowned artists and ensembles, including Handel and Haydn Society, pianist Jeremy Denk, and cellist Zlatomir Fung.
