Worcester Police Officers Honored At City Hall Promotion Ceremony
City leaders spoke at the event on Tuesday.

WORCESTER, MA — A group of police officers was honored at a Worcester Police Department Promotions Ceremony at City Hall on Tuesday.
A total of eleven police officers will be promoted to higher ranks, including one deputy chief, one captain, two lieutenants, and seven sergeants. City leaders, including City Manager Eric Batista and Mayor Joseph Petty, spoke to the officers about the importance of their positions at the event.
The members of WPD who were promoted are Deputy Chief Matthew D’Andrea, Captain Sean Murtha, Lieutenant Ryan Maher, Lt. Brendan Tivnan, Sergeant Trevis Coleman, Sergeant Rebecka Mailea, Sergeant Casey Onuigbo, Sergeant Sean O’Rourke, Sergeant Michael Reilly, Sgt. Neftali Batista and Sgt. Dana Randall.
