This Pool In Worcester Is Finally Open For The Season

This spot in the city is open just in time to beat the heat.

WORCESTER, MA — The Crompton Park Pool in Worcester officially opened on Thursday.

The community pool was one of many in Worcester that were supposed to open on July 1, but a faulty valve needed repair, according to a statement from the city.

The pool water was tested and received approval from the state to open on Wednesday, the statement said.

The pool at 47 Quinsigamond Ave. will now remain open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will close for the season on August 23.
