Worcester's Erin Williams Wins 'Champion Of Artists Award'

She is one of five "Champion of Artists" awardees.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Worcester's Erin Williams was one of five named "Champion of Artists" by the Massachusetts Arts Leaders Coalition.

On Nov. 8 at the State House, the coalition highlighted the awardees with a reception. Williams, playwright, theater director, dramaturg, Cultural Development Officer for the City of Worcester and Executive Director of the Worcester Cultural Coalition, was one of the awardees.

"She has helped to make the Commonwealth’s second largest city, Worcester, a thriving arts community," said the announcement. "She is one of the strongest artists advocates in the Commonwealth today. MALC can always count on her to testify and advocate on the issues MALC deems key."
