Worcester's Sam's Club Among 63 Closed Abruptly By Walmart
Sorry to the members. Sam's Club in Worcester is among dozens that abruptly closed around the country.
WORCESTER, MA — Within 24 hours of Walmart announcing its base pay increase for employees, it also announced the closing of 63 Sam's Club stores in the United States, according to several reports.
Business Insider reports that the closures appeared to be abrupt and that some of the employees found out upon arriving at work to find the doors locked.
The Sam's Club located at 1 Tobias Boland Way in Worcester is among those to have closed.

The locations were also removed from the company's website, with a search of Worcester, MA, producing a "page cannot be found."
