WSU Participates In Ellen Degeneres' Cheerios Fundraiser

WORCESTER, MA—Ellen Degeneres on her show "Ellen" has been promoting, and fulfilling, her One Million Acts of Good Campaign, starting this year every day this message of kindness and positivity in conjunction with Cheerios.

Complementing her now household-slogan "be kind to one another," this initiative encourages viewers to share acts of good.

Worcester State University is one of 50 sites that were picked to participate in the One Million Acts of Good. To fulfill their act of good, on Wednesday, Feb. 28, students build Matter Boxes, in the Student Center, Exhibit Area, to distribute to those with food security concerns. This includes South High, Chandler Magnet, and a city homeless shelter -- the Grace Hotel.
