Your Dog Wants To go To DogFest New England 2021 at Polar Park

It’s a tail-waggin’ good time you won’t want to miss! Canine Companions DogFest New England raises money for Canine Companions service dogs to help people with disabilities. We're excited to be partnering once again with our friends at the WooSox for DogFest New England 2021. Gather your family and friends on Sunday, September 19. The event will feature service dog clients and demos, a human-dog costume contest, vendors, local mascots, great food, music and much more. Here’s a Sneak Peak!

WHEN: Sunday, September 19; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE: Polar Park, 100 Madison Street, Worcester, MA 01608

WHO: Everyone is invited to participate! There is no cost, but you can register at: canine.org/dogfest and start fundraising and spread the word about this fun and family friendly event. When registering, be sure to indicate you are bringing a dog to get your free DogFest dog bandana. Then fundraise to qualify for some fun DogFest swag!

WHY: Since 1975, Canine Companions continues to place expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities, free of charge. Our mission is to help our clients and their service dogs live with greater independence. Help us raise money to provide exceptional dogs for the over 400 people currently waiting for their new canine partners.

Rules for Pooches and Pups at DogFest: - No female dogs in heat. - Dogs attending must be social and friendly with other dogs and people. - Dogs attending must be comfortable in crowds. - Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. This means puppies must be over 4 months old and have completed their full set of puppy vaccinations, including rabies. All dogs must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6 feet, at all times. - Dogs must be ready to have a good time, exhibited by lots of tail wagging!
