WORCESTER, MA — The Webster Square-area Greek restaurant Zorba's Taverna closed its doors over the weekend, capping more than a decade in business along Stafford Street.

Nusa and Christo Dimopoulos opened Zorba's in 2011 at 97 Stafford St. across from the Webster Square shopping plaza. The restaurant served traditional Greek fare like spinach pie, stuff grape leaves, plus specialties like a Greek-style chicken quesadilla.

"All good things must come to an end. With that we’d like to thank our wonderful customers, our dedicated staff, diligent vendors and everyone in between. We’re grateful for all of you and hope to see you one last time through February 3rd. Thank You for the many years of support," the owners wrote in a Facebook post announcing the closure on Feb. 1.
