FORT GRATIOT, MI — A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is opening next week in southeastern Michigan, according to a news release.

The new restaurant will open at 4783 24th Ave. in Fort Gratiot next Thursday. It will be the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Fort Gratiot.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.

"Throughout my life, I’ve lived in many different areas, but I always felt the most at home in the Mitten, thanks to the friendly communities and the scenic views perfect for hiking, camping and boating – all of which have always been passion points for me," Weston said. "I’m honored to open the first Chick-fil-A in Fort Gratiot, meet new neighbors, and build a space for our Team Members, Guests and the community."
