HASTINGS, MI — A small Michigan town is bracing for a massive music festival this weekend.
Hastings, a small southwest Michigan town with a population of roughly 7,000, is hosting the "Rock the Country," country music festival.
The two-day concert kicks off Friday at the Barry Expo Center, which is located at 1350 M-37, and wraps up Saturday. The music starts at roughly 2 p.m. each day and will end before 11:30 p.m.

Tickets start at $160 and can be purchased here.
"Rock The Country is more than just a festival — it’s a gathering for the true heart of America," the festival website says. "This is where hardworking, God-fearing patriots unite under the open sky, celebrating the freedom we hold dear and the power of live music to connect us all."

The concert will feature several top acts, including Kid Rock, Nickelback and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Local officials believe roughly 25,000 people will attend the festival and warned local residents to prepare for traffic delays and other traffic disturbances. Officials specifically asked residents to avoid the M-37 corridor between Hastings and Middleville.
Hastings is one of ten stops for the festival across the country.
