PORTAGE, MI — A Michigan Office Depot worker was fired after refusing to print flyers for a Friday vigil for Charlie Kirk, according to the company.
The interaction, which was captured on social media at a Portage store, shows the employee telling the customer "we don't print propaganda."
The customer then questioned the claim, and the employee said, "It's propaganda, I'm sorry, we don't print that here."

Office Depot said they were "deeply concerned by the incident" and went on to fire the employee after an internal investigation.
"The behavior displayed by our associate is completely unacceptable and insensitive, violates our company policies, and does not reflect the values we uphold at Office Depot," the statement said. "We sincerely apologize to the customer affected and to our community for this regrettable situation."

The company said the order was eventually fulfilled.
The Republican Party of Kalamazoo County organized the vigil in the county, which Republican U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga represents.
"It is absolutely shameful that @OfficeDepot in Portage refused to print this poster for the vigil tonight at Bronson Park in Kalamazoo," Huizenga wrote on X. "These individuals paid for the work to be done and the employees appear to have refused to do it because it was in memory of Charlie Kirk."
This incident comes after a Michigan judge and teacher faced backlash for comments made after the shooting.
Kirk, 31, was fatally shot Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University. Video from the event shows Kirk falling from his chair as a shot was fired in his lower neck. A 22-year-old Utah man was arrested in connection with the shooting.
