This MI Restaurant Is Among America's Top 50, NY Times Ranking Says

Of the 50 restaurants highlighted by the New York Times, 32 are newly opened, and one from Michigan made the cut.

MICHIGAN — The New York Times recently announced its 50 favorite restaurants in America for 2024, with one from Michigan making the cut.

"Over the last 12 months, reporters and editors traveled to nearly every state scouting restaurants for our annual list," according to the newspaper. "As always, there were no-brainers and tough choices — the United States has a vast, diverse spread of great restaurants these days — but these are our 50 favorites for 2024."

In Michigan, Noori Pocha, located in downtown Clawson made the list. See the full list here.

Noori Pocha is best known for its authentic Korean dishes, including bulgogi, chicken buldake, jokbal, kimchi fried rice, honghap tang and corn cheese.

The restaurant is also attached to Noori Chicken, which is has several locations across Michigan and the nation. That restaurant is best-known for their Korean style wings and fried chicken.

Other Midwestern restaurants that made the list include two from Minnesota, and one from Illinois and Ohio each.
