Pickup Truck Pulling Camper Crashes, Flips Over In Northern MI: Police
The driver and two passengers inside the overturned pickup truck were wearing their seatbelts and were not seriously injured, police said.

CHEBOYGAN COUNTY, MI — A pickup truck pulling a camper crashed and flipped onto its side Sunday afternoon in northern Michigan, Michigan State Police said.
The driver and two other passengers inside the overturned pickup truck were wearing their seatbelts and were not seriously injured in the crash, officials said.
A 40-year-old man from Lansing was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram south on Interstate 75 near Rondo Road in Ellis Township at 12:55 p.m. when one of the pickup truck's tires gave out, causing the driver to lose control, officials said.

As the pickup truck and camper left the roadway and flipped onto to its side, the rotor from the blown out tire went flying and struck the windshield of another vehicle that was being driven by a 52-year-old Casco man, officials said.
Neither the Casco man nor his wife were not injured when the rotor struck their vehicle's windshield, officials said.

One lane of the freeway was briefly shutdown as state troopers from the Gaylord Post investigated the crash.
