MICHIGAN — Throughout 2024, various publications released “best of” lists to help guide Michigan residents’ educational choices, from the best elementary schools to the best colleges and universities to pursue a degree.

Michigan figured prominently in several data analyses and study-driven rankings for education from U.S. News & World Report and Niche, which provides rankings on schools, neighborhoods, cities and companies in the United States.

According to U.S. News, Michigan boasts several of the best high schools, middle schools and elementary schools.

Top Elementary School in Michigan: Gallimore Elementary School, Canton

Top Middle School in Michigan: Dearborn Stem Middle School, Dearborn

Best High School in Michigan: International Academy, Bloomfield Hills (Oakland Schools)

Best College In Michigan: University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
