Who Is In Super Bowl 2023: 14 Players With Michigan Ties
Seven former Detroit Lions and four former Michigan Wolverines will take the field for the Eagles and Chiefs in the big game.
MICHIGAN — When the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs face off Sunday for Super Bowl LVII in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, fans in Michigan will see some familiar faces.
Eight players on the Kansas City Chiefs roster and six players on the Philadelphia Eagles roster have ties to Michigan, including seven former Lions and four former Wolverines.
Chiefs defensive ends Frank Clark and Mike Danna and backup quarterback Chad Henne, plus Eagles longtime starting defensive Brandon Graham are all former Michigan Wolverines.

The game will also feature former Michigan State Spartan Josiah Scott, cornerback for the Eagles, former Eastern Michigan Eagle Andrew Wylie, guard for the Chiefs and former Western Michigan Bronco Skyy Moore, wide receiver for the Chiefs.
There are also seven former Detroit Lions who will be playing in the big game, including former Lions standouts cornerback Darius Slay and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Punter Arryn Siposs and cornerback Andre Chachere are also former Lions who will be playing for the Eagles.

Fullback Michael Burton, defensive tackle Danny Shelton and kicker Matthew Wright will be playing for the Chiefs.
Between them, the 2023 Super Bowl teams have 104 former college football players on their rosters. They played ball for 63 colleges, with the Oklahoma Sooners sending the most — six — to the Super Bowl.
Florida, Michigan and Mississippi State are all sending four players each; Alabama, Cincinnati, Florida State, Louisiana Tech, Nebraska and Washington State are sending three players each; and Auburn, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Old Dominion, Rutgers, SMU, Texas Tech, USC, and Wisconsin are each sending two players.
