Father's Day: Honor Dad With Poetry

Every year when Father's Day rolls around, children and spouses everywhere wonder what gift to give the man who has everything.

He often ends up with a tie. Or a coffee mug. Or, worse yet, a family outing when he'd rather be snoozing on the couch with the golf tournament on TV.

So, this year why not write Dear Old Dad a poem to express how much he means to you. Email your original work to Leslie.Ellis@patch.com with a few sentences about your entry, a photo if you'd like, and we'll post it June 19 on Father's Day.
