Moms Talk: How Do You Teach Kids About Money?

Last week in Moms Talk (dads, you're welcome to chime in, too!), we asked you talk with your children about proposed K-12 funding cuts and teacher layoffs. Here's what you had to say:

• Libby Turpin: "My kids, especially my first grade daughter, is very disappointed that music and art might not be offered next year. As of yet, I keep reminding her that no firm plans have been made yet, but we have to voice our concerns to the lawmakers. I also tell her that we will just have to make it up at home or elsewhere."
