Moms Talk: When Should Sex Education Begin?
Post a comment to share your thoughts about how children should learn about their bodies and reproduction.

Last week in Moms Talk (dads, you're welcome to chime in, too!), we asked you. Here's what you had to say:
- "How do we deal with the guilt trips our kids impose on us if we do not allow them to open a FB account? I always tell my kids that I am not so-and-so's parent, but the constant begging and pleading does become bothersome. My husband says 18; yet when schools are creating FB pages to keep kids informed with sports and extracurricular activities, then I can understand the convenience factor. Maybe an eighth-grade present." – Libby Turpin
- "Facebook's policy is that kids must be 13 to have a page." – Christine McNish.
- "When to start allowing Facebook is not an easy one to answer, but whenever you do start it, put a lot of limits on it at first. Know your child's password and use it now and then. Do a lot of talking about who and who not to 'friend,' as well as what and what not to share. The novelty will wear off soon enough, and it will likely become just one more tool to connect with friends and family." –Beth Valone
This week, as the reviews its reproductive health program and solicits parents' input, we'd like to hear what you think about sex education. When should sex education begin? What should children learn, and who should teach them?
