In honor of Memorial Day, Director Anne Hage suggests several military-themed titles, including tales of President John F. Kennedy's service.

Hage notes that Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963, would have celebrated his birthday Sunday.

• Collision with History: The Search for John F. Kennedy’s PT 109 by Robert D. Ballard, 2002. This book follows the destruction of Kennedy's 80-foot, wooden-hulled boat, PT 109, in the Solomon Islands in 1943 and the actions he took.
• PT 109: John F. Kennedy in World War II by Robert J. Donovan,  1961. This is the story of Kennedy's courage and bravery during an attack on his boat during World War II.
