T-Mobile Store to Replace Margarita's Mexican Restaurant in Berkley

Work is under way to transform the former Margarita's Mexican Restaurant in Berkley into a T-Mobile store.

Berkley City Planner Amy Vansen said the project is targeted for completion before the Woodward Dream Cruise on Aug. 17.

The Woodward Avenue property was purchased in September 2011 by Kevin Denha, who owns several T-Mobile franchises throughout Metro Detroit, from previous owner Luis Gomez. It since has been vacant.
