The Birmingham Covington School (BCS) Science Olympiad team, coached by Tammy Brown, Chris Emmi and Jeanne Jacobs, competed against 28 other teams from around Michigan at the International Academy in Troy on Feb. 4.
Overall the team came in first place and the following students earned medals or ribbons for their events:
