Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber Announces New Directors, Officers

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber has named Jennie Cascio, Gary Andrus, and Annie VanGelderen to its Board of Directors for 2013. All three will serve a three-year term.

Cascio is the executive director with Birmingham-based Variety — the Children’s Charity. She has been a member since 2011.

Andrus owns the Adams Square Shopping Center in Birmingham. He has been a member since 1992.

VanGelderen is the President and CEO for the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. She has been a member since 1992.

In addition to the new appointments, Bruce Kridler was named chairman of the Board of Directors for 2013.  Kridler is the senior vice president, New Business Development for the Huntington Wealth Advisors Group.  He has been a member since 2001.

Also named as officers for 2013 were:

  • Karen Pifer, a partner for the Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, first vice chair
  • Linda Hatfield, the vice president for marketing at the Birmingham Bloomfield Credit Union, second vice chair
  • Mark Smith, a partner with Mellen, Smith & Pivoz, PLC, CPAs, treasurer
  • Troy Wyman, financial advisor for the Center for Financial Planning, Inc., secretary.
