Community House's 'School of Rock' Auditions Begin Jan. 6

Sara Smith Productions Youth Theatre will present School House Rock! at on March 3 and 4, 2012.

The production is open to youths ages 8-18. Auditions are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 6, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. or Saturday, Jan. 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Since the entire audition process is approximately 2-3 hours in length, parents need to wait also. A one-minute monologue (does not have to be memorized) and 16 bars of a favorite song with music (sheet music only) will be required. Also, please be prepared to learn a short dance routine (wear comfortable shoes) and list ALL schedule conflicts.

First rehearsal begins Jan. 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. All Saturday and Wednesday rehearsals are mandatory, as well as the week of Feb. 25-March 2 (dates subject to change).

The production is directed by Joey Albright, and Debbie Tedrick, Musical Director.
