The Community House Appoints New Director of Development

Camille Jayne, President and CEO of announced Friday afternoon the appointment of Marc Melton to Director of Development.

In his new position, Melton will direct research, planning and implementation of The Community House development activities that generate private and public gift revenues from individuals, corporations, foundations and governmental entities.

Melton brings 15 years of fundraising experience to The Community House. He has worked for nonprofit, governmental, association and for-profit organizations while raising money through individual giving, major gifts, grants, special events, planned giving and capital campaigns.

Throughout his career, Melton has been a part of fundraising efforts that have raised approximately $100 million benefitting individuals and organizations worldwide. Before coming to The Community House, Marc worked for Michigan Nonprofit Association, Lutheran Child & Family Service of Michigan, CCS Fund Raising and Starfish Family Services.
