On the Agenda: 2012-13 School Tuition Rates Up for Approval

  • An update on the district's enrichment efforts — Stephen Palmer, assistant superintendent for instruction
  • An update on the development of the 2012-13 district budget — Debbie Piesz, assistant superintendent for business services


Resolutions

  • Routine personnel action
  • Approval of tuition enrollment rates for the 2012-13 school year
  • A hearing on the proposed 2012 summer school rates and salary schedules for instructors
  • A resolution proclaiming the week of Feb. 12-18 as Principal's Week
  • Approval of Seaholm's 2102 baseball camp, 2012 lacrosse camp and 2012 dance team (Maple Motion). Approval by the Board of Education is required for the participation of all athletes and coaches in overnight trips and camps.

Following the regular meeting, the board will then hold a special study session at 8 p.m. discussing a variety of issues including future planning and other educational matters (including all-day kindergarten during the 2012-13 school year). No resolutions are passed during study sessions.
