'Living a Balanced Life' Presentation

This Valentine‟s Day, Community Education through Collaboration And Communication (CECAC) hopes to help provide the keys to a balanced life with guest speaker Megan Gunnell. Gunnell, LMSW, MT-BC, is a Birmingham Psychotherapist and will share the secrets to a healthy work/life balance.

“Presence and mindfulness play a key role in increasing the quality of life,” said Matt Church, associate director of the Baldwin Public Library and member of the CECAC Executive Board. “Megan Gunnell will offer real life strategies for us all to „live in the now‟ and explain why too much focus on our past can create a sense of unnecessary worry or lead to feeling overwhelmed.”

Guests to the CECAC lecture series are invited to bring a friend as part of the traditional February meeting. The Thursday, Feb. 14 event includes a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by the presentation at 9 a.m. Time is also given to networking.
