Troubled Waters: The Great Lakes Frontier on the Eve of the War of 1812

Join Brian Leigh Dunnigan, associate director and curator of maps at the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan, as he covers the history of the War of 1812 in the Michigan territory. Using contemporary maps and drawings, Dunnigan will describe the look of the upper Great Lakes at the time of war.

The event is part of the Friends of the Birmingham Historical Museum and Park Lecture Series.
