Fuel Report: Gas Hovers At $3.29 a Gallon Monday in Birmingham

It's the first full week of the new year and while regional prices are falling, gas prices in Birmingham are staying the same.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.25 this morning, down from $3.32 a week ago.

The lowest gas prices in Metro Detroit this morning, meanwhile, is $3.13 a gallon. The closest stations selling gas at that price can be found in Rochester Hills, including the Meijer on Adams and a Speedway and Shell station on Crooks.

In Birmingham, the lowest price you'll find is $3.29, found at nearly all local gas stations except the Mobil station on 14 Mile Road.
