Police Recover Stolen Band Instruments, Arrest Madison Heights Man
Police believe a Madison Heights man took three violins and a trumpet from the Seaholm band room in March 2012.

arrested a 23-year-old man from Madison Heights on charges of stealing three violins and one trumpet from earlier this spring.
Police recovered four of the six band instruments stolen from the band room sometime in March 2012 this week after a lengthy follow-up investigation. The instruments were discovered at an Oakland County-area pawn shop.
According to reports, police believe the man entered the school building after school hours and stole the instruments. Police say the 23-year-old has no connections to Seaholm.

The man is currently on parole and being held in jail. A warrant is currently pending from the Oakland County Prosecutors Office.
