Annual Women’s Event Supports Pancreatic Cancer Research

Presented by Sky Foundation, Inc.

Sky Foundation, Inc. will present its 15th Annual Women’s Event at Bloomfield Hills Country Club on Wednesday, May 10th at 5:30 pm. This event will include a Panel Discussion with a Michigan Medicine Genetic Counselor from the University of Michigan, a Gastroenterologist from Henry Ford Health, and a Pancreatic Cancer Researcher from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School.

Event features include a 52-Card Raffle for a $1,000 Gift Card to Somerset Collection (donated by The Forbes Company), cocktail hour, raffle baskets, followed by a formal dinner and program. All proceeds support the nonprofit’s mission to raise awareness and fund research for pancreatic cancer.

“The Women’s Event educates the community on this hard-to-diagnose and harder-to-treat cancer” said Sheila Sky Kasselman, 16-year pancreatic cancer survivor and Sky Foundation’s Founder. At this event, Sky will highlight its beloved founder who passed away on February 25, 2023, with a video tribute at the conclusion of the event.
