Bloomfield Township Police Ask Residents Not To Steal Yard Signs

On social media, the department told residents, "Let's do better!"

BLOOMFIELD TWP., MI — Bloomfield Township police are asking residents to refrain from stealing election yard signs, citing a pair of recent yard sign thefts they are investigating.

According to the department, two "Trump for President" sign was stolen from a yard in the 1000 block of Atkinson Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday. The victim told police that two unknown women had stolen two of his Trump campaign signs. The theft was captured on a home security camera and shows the women leaving the scene in a light colored SUV, according to police.

Another reported theft took place when a man living in the 1000 block of Hickorybark Lane told police that their "Biden-Harris" campaign sign had been stolen from his front lawn sometimes between 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
