Book Sale, Spaghetti Dinner And More Around Bloomfield This Week

Second Saturday Sale

Friends of the BTPL will host their monthly book sale in the lower level of the Bloomfield Township Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The first hour is for Friends’ members only and there is no fee to attend.

Hats Off to the Museum 

Fans of Dr. Seuss and fun reading in general will not want to miss this free, kids-friendly event starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Birmingham Historical Museum. Co-sponsored with the Baldwin Public Library, the "Hats Off at the Museum" program will feature a reading of "The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins" and a fun hat-making activity. Register at 248-530-1928.

Personal Ceramics at Lil' Rascals

Are you good at creating things with your hands? Join a personalized ceramic tile event for all ages, and even dogs at 10 a.m. at Lil' Rascals -580 N. Eat Spaghetti for Seniors

The Gratitude Steel Band performs at Sylvan Lake Lutheran Church, 2399 Figa, West Bloomfield, on Sunday at 4 p.m. in a benefit concert for Faith in Action of Oakland County, a new non-profit dedicated to helping seniors live independently in their homes.
