Registration and Orientation Dates For the New Bloomfield Hills High School
The new Bloomfield Hills High School opens a two-year transition period this fall while construction of a mostly-new facility continues on the old Anodver High School site. Here are key dates for incoming students.
Heading to the new Bloomfield Hills High School main campus — located at the old Lahser High School building — next fall? Don't miss these important dates. Registration runs from 8-11 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. each of the following days:
Monday, Aug. 19: Grade 12
Tuesday, Aug. 20: Grade 11
Wednesday, Aug. 21: Grade 10
Thursday Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 23: Make-up days
For 9th Graders
For those attending the 9th Grade campus, located at the Hickory Grove building, here are your registration dates:Tuesday, Aug. 20: Students with last names A-K.
Wednesday, Aug. 21: Students with last names L-Z.
Thursday, Aug. 22: Make-up day.
Registration forms are available at http://BHHS.bloomfield.org. Officials ask that students bring their completed forms to registration.
Freshman Orientation
The first annual Link Crew Freshman Orientation for members of the class of 2017 is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 8 a.m. to noon at the main campus gym.
Seniors and juniors will host the students and serve as mentors to the freshmen throughout the school year. Large and small group activities are designed to address students’ needs and concerns in an effort to to make the transition from middle school to high school a positive one.
