Brighton Police, Livingston Deputies Catch Homicide Suspect
Brighton Police aided in the capture of a Inkster woman accused of running over a Westland woman with her car last week.

A woman wanted in connection with a homicide in Westland was caught by local authorities Thursday night, according to media reports.
According to Press & Argus, Shannon Marie Gruden-Trigg, 30, of Inkster, was found near Kellogg Road in Genoa Township.
Gruden-Trigg is accused of running over a 26-year-old Westland woman with her car last week, killing the mother of four, according to WHMI 93.5 FM.

Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte told WHMI a “be-on-the-lookout” advisory was issued to local authorities as Grudgen-Trigg had relatives nearby.
Deputies and Brighton police found the woman's car hidden in the woods around 7:40 p.m. Thursday near Kellogg Road. They then found her walking down Hughes Road and arrested her, according to WHMI.

She has been turned over to Westland authorities for investigation.
