Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are some events you should know about in the Brighton area.

1. Truck-or-Treat
- When: Friday, Oct. 25 starting at 6:30 p.m.
- Where: Shepherd of the Lakes Church
- What: Families bring goodies such as candy or small trinkets and park cars with trunks open and decorated. Children “trick-or-treat” to the open trunks and have some safe fall fun. All are welcome.
- When: Oct. 26 starting at 3 p.m.
- Where: Green Oak Shopping Center
- What: A fun-filled Halloween event for children, complete with trick-or-treating. Trick-or-treating begins at 4 p.m. The book reading at Barnes & Noble also begins at 4 p.m. Seating times at Salsarita's are available at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Visit www.shopsatgreenoak.com for more information.
- When: Saturday, Oct. 26
- Where: Kensington Valley Ice House in Brighton
- What: The 2004 Kensington Valley Rebel Hockey team is joining in the fight against breast cancer.
- When: Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
- Where: Yoga Center for Healthy Living
- What: Best costume wins a prize (though, costumes aren't necessary). Double your Fun and Stretch in this relaxing, fun-filled class, as you share a mat w/a friend/loved one. Light refreshments provided after class. Fun for all.
- When: October 26 starting at 11:45 p.m. to October 27 at 6 a.m.
- Where: Brighton Zap Zone
What: Unlimited laser tag including specialty games such as Capture the Bases, Protect the President and Defend the Towers. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
