Volunteers Needed to Plot a Safe Walking Route for Chelsea Students

Are you interested in making walking and biking to school safer for Chelsea students? Your help is needed for a walking audit Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. in downtown Chelsea.

As part of Chelsea Safe Routes to School, parents and teachers will walk several routes around Beach Middle School and South Meadows Elementary School.

The group will meet in front of Back to the Roots at 9 a.m., and wrap up the walk and discussion by 11 a.m.

Children are especially encouraged to attend and participate. A light breakfast is included.
