Chelsea Knights of Columbus Honor Citizens with Year-End Awards

Resident Owen Ballow received the Knight of the Year Award for his dedication to the council.

The St. Louis Guanella Council 3092 of the Chelsea Knights of Columbus recognized several local residents for their dedication to the community during a year-end awards ceremony.

Immediate Past Grand Knight Owen Ballow, who led the council during the past two years, was honored with the council’s Knight of the Year Award.

The Family of the Year Award went to Norman, Kathi, and Joe Neuman of Chelsea.

According to Heritage.com, the Neumans were honored for their years of contributions to the St. Louis Center.

Joe Neuman was also honored for his 20 years of membership in the council, while John Bulick was honored for 35 years, and George Merkel was honored for 65 years.
