Former Chelsea Restauranteur Sentenced in Sexual Assault Case
Michael Paul Radant, a Chelsea restaurateur was sentenced on Thursday for two counts of sexual assault with intent to commit sexual conduct.

Michael Paul Radant, 37, a Chelsea restaurateur, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct in exchange for the dismissal of two third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, according to annarbor.com
Radant, who was the co-owner of Ellie’s Chelsea, pleaded guilty in March after a 37-year-old told police she was sexually assaulted by Radant in November, according to the Chelsea Standard.
Radant was sentenced to five years of probation and one year in jail with 113 days already served by Judge David Swartz and will also have to register as a sex offender for life, according to the newspaper.
Radant is free on bond, according to annarbor.com, which was set at $10,000 cash or surety at his fall arraignment.
