Both incidents are under investigation, with one case closed pending new information, underscoring the importance of securing property and monitoring personal accounts.
   

• Sylvan Twp: Board Meeting Synopsis 12/9/25 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Sylvan Township’s December board meetings in Chelsea set 2026 meeting dates, approved a major water tower painting contract, and renewed key insurance and auditing agreements that affect local services. The board also filled several advisory and planning roles, named representatives to the Chelsea Area Fire Authority Board, and hired a new office assistant starting January 5.
