Leon & Lulu to Host Pro-Am Baking Extravaganza

The second annual Let Them Eat Cake, A Pro-Am Baking Extravaganza is Sunday, April 1 from 1-4 p.m. at in Clawson.

The April Fool's Day event will benefit Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes for the American Diabetes Association and is open to both home and professional bakers. Please visit www.leonandlulu.com/cake for complete details on the contest and baking specifics for ADA compliance.    

Local bakeries, restaurants, pastry culinary students, and amateur bakers to go head-to-head in a delicious dessert competition featuring healthy, diabetic-friendly offerings. The choice of dessert is up to you, and you may submit more than one entry. There are no fees for entering the competition other than preparing and delivering your special desserts, one for display and tasting samples for 300 people.
