"People are coming to the store more and more for vinyl and that takes me back," said Fundaro, a Royal Oak resident who has worked in downtown Clawson since 1983.
The store has gone from selling records and video games in the 1980s to compact discs in the 1990s to its current selection, with a wide variety of vinyl records, retro video games, collectible toys, used DVDs, and other eclectic items.

The key, Fundaro said, is maintaining the store as a center for information and anyone looking for a good deal.
"Of course, we're living in a downloading age now, but we're not so antiquated that we can't find anything you're looking for, for you, online," he said. "It's about being able to help someone find that special song they wanted to hear."
Flipside is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, visit shopflipsiderecords.com or call (248) 585-4090.
