Get Ready to Recycle, Clawson: Competition vs. Hazel Park Starts May 1

Residents encouraged to recycle every scrap of paper, plastic container, glass bottle or jar, and all the metal that will fit in their bins.

The City of Clawson is encouraging residents to ramp up their recycling efforts as part of a friendly competition with Hazel Park to see which city can increase its recycling the most next month.

Residents are asked to recycle every scrap of paper, plastic container, glass bottle or jar, and all the metal that will fit in their recycling bins.

The winning city will get a trophy, bragging rights, and the chance to challenge another SOCRRA city, according to Clawson's web site.
