Happy National Library Week, Clawson!

Visit the Blair Memorial Library through Saturday for discounts on books.

Blair Memorial Library will welcome Clawson residents this week with a sale on books as part of National Library Week, running through Saturday.

"Libraries are the heart of our communities," said Mayor Penny Luebs, a Local Voices blogger on Clawson Patch. "Libraries and librarians provide resources and programs to meet community needs, provide resume writing classes, homework help, technology training and more. Visit the Blair Memorial Library today."

In May 2011, Clawson voters passed a millage increase of 0.3 mills to benefit the library on top of the current 1.0 mill.
