Argument Leads To Shooting In Macomb County

A 31-year-old Macomb County man was shot Saturday evening after an argument.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A 31-year-old Macomb County man suffered a gunshot wound to the hip after an argument at a Harrison Township apartment complex near Jefferson Avenue Saturday evening. He was taken to McLaren Macomb hospital in Mount Clemens with non-life threatening injuries, according to a Macomb Daily report.

“One man was moving into the townhouses and thought one of his appliances was missing,” the sheriff said. “That’s what the argument was essentially about.”
“A 43-year-old man who was at the scene of the shooting was taken into custody for questioning. Police said he has cooperated with the investigation and has been released pending further investigation.”
