Chippewa Valley Urges Community Involvement to Prevent Suicides
The Clinton Township high school offers a variety of programs, including suicide awareness events.
Chippewa Valley High School has taken a proactive role in suicide prevention, according to a report on WDIV-TV.
The school has a hotline, anonymous counseling options and suicide awareness events.
"Nothing should be disregarded," said Dr. Charlene McGunn, the executive director of Chippewa Valley Coalition for Youth and Families.

The school district also sent home a letter detailing statistics and warning signs—including wild swings in behavior—in the wake of a suicide at a middle school in Southgate last week.
