Firefighters Douse Car Fire Wednesday in Hometown Clinton; Cause Still Unknown

The Clinton Township Fire Department responded to a car fire in a manufactured home community at Clinton River and Hayes roads Wednesday morning.

The Clinton Township Fire Department responded to a car fire Wednesday morning in the Hometown Clinton manufactured home community at Clinton River and Hayes roads.

Battalion Chief Mark Turo said the fire occurred at approximately 9:16 a.m. Wednesday on Parfait Court. While the car was a complete loss, Turo said there was only minimal heat damage to the home nearby and no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
