L'Anse Creuse Public Schools Appoints Hilary Dubay To The Board of Education

Hilary Dubay was one of four candidates vying for a Board of Education seat.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI The L'Anse Creuse Public Schools Board of Education has an important announcement: Hilary Dubay has been appointed to fill the vacancy created by former Board Treasurer Pamela Hornberger, according to a press release. Dubay was one of four candidates vying for the seat, and she was appointed to the role on Jan. 4.

“All four candidates would have brought different skills and perspectives to the Board,” Board President Amelia Servial said in a statement. She continued, “However, in the end, Mrs. Dubay was chosen unanimously and we look forward to working with her."

Dubay has been a resident for 11 years and plays a big role in her children’s school activities. She also volunteers for several local organizations and is a strong advocate for special education, according to a press release. "I look forward to serving my community and our students by helping to move L’Anse Creuse forward,” Dubay said in a statement.

Dubay will be at the next regularly scheduled Board of Education Meeting on Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Harry L. Wheeler Community Center and Administrative Offices, located at 24076 F.V. Pankow Blvd.
