Macomb County Offers Free Coronavirus Testing Tuesday, Wednesday

More than 11,000 cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Macomb County as of Monday, according to data provided by the county.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — The Macomb County Health Department is offering free testing for the coronavirus Tuesday and Wednesday, the county announced this week.

The health department is offering the testing through a partnership with Clinton Township, Sterling Heights and the Wayne State University Physicians Group.

Testing will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Drewry Park in Clinton Township. You can register online here.

The second day of testing will take place the Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday. You can register for that event here.

More than 11,000 cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Macomb County as of Monday, according to data provided by the county's health department. Over 7,300 people in the county have recovered from the virus, while nearly 1,000 have died.
