Macomb County Under Winter Weather Advisory, Freezing Rain-Snow Mix Possible

A nasty mix of snow and freezing rain is headed for Macomb County Sunday night, which could make for a slippery morning commute, according to National Weather Service reports. 

Macomb County has been put under a winter weather advsiory from 7 p.m. Sunday through 6 a.m. Monday. 

A mix of snow and freezing rain is expected to fall during the night, with 1 to 2 inches of snow possible by morning. Although temperatures will climb above freezing during the night, ice is possible. 

The rain is expected to continue throughout the day Monday, with areas of fog likely after 10 a.m. as temperatures climb into the high 40s.
